Sree, Here's some thought. There's no mention of integration with Federation in the Peoplesoft agent guides that CA/ Broadcom has. This is customization. You can take a look at
Increased Security with Tier 2 Integration
section in the PeopleSoft agent guide and try to come up with an architecture definition and requirements based on your business need; e.g.
https://ftpdocs.broadcom.com/cadocs/0/CA%20SSO%20Agent%20for%20Oracle%20PeopleSoft%2012%2051-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/PDF/CA_SSO_Agent_for_Oracle_PeopleSoft_Guide_ENU.pdf
So, conceptually, as in Tier 2 description, the point of trust moves away from the front-end web server
and into a more trusted host; in this case your PeopleSoft application server at the (SAML 1.1 Federated) Service Provider. So, your
application logic and security is given
the ability to call CA SSO APIs (perhaps using Fed SDK) to communicate with a Policy server (say in the SAML1.1 Service Provider) to validate the
information that is presented from the Web Agent there in the SP.
Take care.
