  • 1.  Access Gateway 12.8 force outbound ip for virtual host

Access Gateway on Windows is configured with 2 ip addresses for virtual hosts. Inbound traffic works as expected.

Is it possible, and if so how, to force outbound traffic to use the ip address of the virtual host? At this point in the configuration, all outbound traffic is using the primary ip address of the Windows server.

It is necessary that the virtual host IP be used for outbound traffic to provide differentiation for firewall rules.

    Hi,

Have you tried the src option in adding routing table entries?

    Eduard,

How do you force a src address with the Windows route command? What you suggest seems very possible in Linux world, but I cannot find any method with options available in Windows to force a source address.

    Thanks!
