  • 1.  Windows VS Linux differences?

    Posted Apr 15, 2019 07:41 AM

    Hi,

I am currently doing my first Linux installation and would like to know what the main differences are? For one I am not seeing the usual windows services called "ArcotRiskfort" and "Casemanagement" windows services that gets created upon installation.

Does this mean for Linux ecerything runs under the TOMCAT application server?

Also are there any other noteworthy differences?

    Thanks

    Hi Francois,

In linux the riskfort service is arrfserver, webfort service is arwfserverand casemanagement service is called arrfcasemgmtserver.

    There is no difference.

    Thanks

Thanks, is there a guide on how to find, start and restart these services?
