  • 1.  CA strong authentication functionality

    Hello guys, I am new to the CA strong authentication product. Just wondering if below described requirements can be met with CA strong authentication.  Appreciate your time.

     

    1. provide multi- factor authentication, by offering One Time passcode (OTP).
    2. provide user a choice to receive the OTP via email/text.
    3. provide option to not require OTP if the user log-in form the same computer within xx days

    Hi Sesha,

     

    Yes all these options are available from CA strong authentication solution. You can achieve all these options. Additionally we provide two factor from our patented mechanisms which are CA AuthID and CA Mobile OTP which are true two factor authentication.

    But what primarily you are looking for are related to flows and can be achieved through demos only, There is no videos shared on this topic so if you open a support case we can demonstrate this behavior OOTB.

    Thank you Namish. I will go ahead and open a support ticket to show this functionality as a demo. Also, just want to confirm this is functionality can be achieved using Strong Authentication without the need to purchase Risk Authentication component.
