Slack is very common nowadays and most of the companies have started using slack for Workspace Administration.

There is a requirement for enabling SSO to slack and Manage members with SCIM provisioning. It seems that other vendor products are already having connectors to support SSO and SCIM provisioning bu OOTB.

I was able to find the below slack custom SAML support guide for federation setup which can be used to setup SSO.

    https://get.slack.help/hc/en-us/articles/205168057-Custom-SAML-single-sign-on

However I am not able to find correct pointer to achieve SCIM provisioning using Siteminder

    https://get.slack.help/hc/en-us/articles/212572638-Managing-team-members-with-SCIM-provisioning

has anyone implemented this feature using CA SSO ? any suggestions ?

    Thanks

    Ashok

Hi Ashok,  I don't believe SSO has any out-of-box(OOB)  feature to "SCIM provisioning using Siteminder" as per your query.

CA Directory and Identity Manager has capability to integrate with SCIM:

    CA Directory SCIM server
    https://docops.ca.com/ca-directory/12-0-16/en/administrating/rarely-used-features/deploy-the-ca-directory-scim-server

    IDM SCIM connector
    https://docops.ca.com/ca-imag-connectors/1-0/EN/scim/introduction-to-the-scim-connector

And, IdM integrates with CA SSO, as you may be aware. Anyway, this may not be the right forum to discuss.

Please we recommend you may submit your questions on this topic to Idenitity Manager Community and you'll have more replies for guidance.

    Thanks & Regards. - Vijay

Thank You Vijay for your response. Customer does not use CA Directory as an userstore.

At this point in time only available options is to use CA IDM to provision Users/groups to slack.
