Severity "Down" Alert not getting published to SOI Console | SOI 4.2

Hello everyone,

I am trying to generate severity "down" alert in SOI using Universal connector command line interface but it is not getting published to SA Manager.

I could see event coming until Event Store ( properly mapped ) and Mid tier Connector through Event Policies dialog but it is not visible in SOI Database and in SA Manager Logs as well. I tired enabling debug for IFW but i don't see much details in the logs.

It is working fine when i try with Minor, Major or Critical severity. Is there any filter for Down severity alerts somewhere ?

Any input/help would be much appreciated. Thanks !

Hi Mukul,
The severity for down alert is Fatal. This is what the property tag should be
<property tag="Severity" value="Fatal"/>

Thanks for the information. I was confused, never really tested beyond severity critical via universal connector.
