SOI - and Cloud applications

Hey Community,

I am wondering whether it is possible to "monitor" cloud applications using SOI or Spectrum?

Hi Waverly,

SOI is not a monitoring tool - it processes information coming from Domain Managers monitoring the environment.
As such, SOI cannot "monitor" cloud applications on its own.

You need to make use of any other Monitoring tool, such as CA UIM with probes for cloud applications or CA APM.  Then you can feed this information into SOI to show the Alerts and model services including CIs from these tools.

Spectrum (per my knowledge) does not monitor cloud applications.  It is more designed to monitor HW devices.
But as I am not a Spectrum specialist, there might be some new features supporting this type of environment as well.
