In the instructions for CA Help DeskConnector for the install it asks for the CA SOI UI Details it states:

Enter the following CA SOI server details on the CA SOI UI Details window.
    1. HostName specifies the hostname of the CA SOI UI server installed system.
    2. HTTPs Port specifies the port number on which the CA SOI UI server is hosted.
    3. UserName specifies the CA SOI username that belongs to an EEM account.
    4. Password specifies the CA SOI server password.

Can someone clarify the specifics regarding port and user name used?

    Hello Maria,

The default SOI UI https port is 7403 and you may use any one of the EEM user that is added to SOI groups.
Since Helpdesk connector uses REST webservices, we cannot use "samuser" here.

    Hi Maria,

the port is normally 7070, unless you configured the UI Server to only be available over https or used a different port for the UI during installation.
The user must be a standard user that is listed in EEM, e.g. not "samuser".
