  • 1.  Solving SOI Connector issue with UIM/MySQL

    Products:
    SOI 4.2
    UIM 9.0.1
    MySQL 5.7
    Connector 3.9.1

    The Issue:
    The connector is stuck on Initializing and "connector is loading" state. 


    Reason:
    Connector XMLs is pointing to the MySQL connector "mysql-connector-java-5.1.46.jar". and this connector is not included with the installation.


    Resolution:
     - Download "mysql-connector-java-5.1.46.jar" from the internet and copy it to CA\Catalyst\CatalystConnector\container\lib
     - Restated the catalyst container and it is solved now.
