I was wondering is there a way to configure a customer account such that when they are logged into the SOI Dashboard, when they click on any of the graphs in the bottom section (Quality, Risk, Health) that it automatically logs into the CABI reporting pages w/o having to enter all the info?
This needs to be simplified for end user customers. They have 1 set of creds for the SOI dashboard then if they want to view reports they have to then enter their specific CABI creds; organization, username, passwords.
Can this be skipped somehow?
did you try this: Configure Single Sign-On - CA Service Operations Insight - 4.2 - CA Technologies Documentation
Ahh thanks Michael... Did not know what this was called so didn't know to search fro this specifically..
But this might do it. Thank you...
Single sign-on (SSO) is available for reports, so that you can run reports from the CA SOI Dashboard without providing the login credentials for CABI JasperReports Server. You can still access reports without SSO configured, but you need to enter the login credentials each time.
Perform following steps in the system where CA SOI Reports is installed:
Perform the following steps in the system where CA SOI UI Server is installed:Do these steps after you configure single sign-on in the CA SOI Reports system.
Michael, any change you know what password they are referring to in step 2 above?
2. Open the soi.properties file, type plain password value in place of "<STORE_PASSWORD>" against key "ks.storepass", and save the file.
Which password is the doc asking for here?
you can choose whatever you want in this password.
It is none of the existing passwords from the system, but only used on both sides of the communication SOI-CABI.
Thanks Michael. I configured this and got this working! Nice thank you...
