  • 1.  UIM connector logs are not clearing and size of file is 4 GB

    This is regarding UIM connector logs on connector server where we can see alarms generated from UIM and propagated to SOI, although we found the size is 4 GB and we are not able to open the file due to its size and also not able to upload the file.

     

    Please help so that how we can open it and we can check alarms as we need it to check for auto closure issue of logmon probe.

    Hello Manish,

     

    Most likely the java process was not closed properly when CA Catalyst Container services were recycled. You may stop this service and make sure there are no orphan java processes running in the task manager, delete all files inside \data\log folder and then start services.

    Well if you change your log4j.xml file to non-debug then you should be able to stop debugging and won't have this issue next time.. But a quick stop service, delete the files, start should fix it..

    Are you in the container - data - log directory?
