We are having a problem with alarms being cleared in Spectrum but not disappearing in SOI.
While I can clear them manually, I'd rather instruct SOI to refresh itself from Spectrum.
Is this possible?
currently the only way to get a full refresh is to restart the connector.
The disadvantage of that is that all Alerts get cleared and come in fresh, e.g. possibly triggering Escalations actions again.
It is a long desired feature to be able (for example from the Admin menu) to instruct a running connector to "refresh" the information. That is on the list of improvements, but without any date for delivery.
We also see this issue where Spectrum has closed an Alarm but the Alert is still open in SOI. However, when we restart Integration Services on the SOI-Spectrum connector, and wait for all the manager queues to clear, the Alerts still remain in SOI. Aren't these supposed to clear? We are running SOI 4.2, Spectrum 10.x, and Connector Version 22.214.171.124.
