In addition to the backup process in the documentation, I could suggest that more could be done.

    Hello Martin,

Are you referring to the Backup procedure at the link below?

Backing Up CA SOI Components - CA Service Operations Insight - 4.0 CU1, SP2 - CA Technologies Documentation

Do you have any queries or suggestions regarding that procedure?

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hello Paul,

I want to know is that the procedure is sufficient for the backup of the services, and if it can be scheduled.

    Hello Martin,

The procedure contains a step to backup the SAMStore DB which contains the services.

The SQL backup can be scheduled daily as explained in the link below.

    https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/sqlagent/2010/10/12/create-a-database-backup-job-using-sql-server-management-studio/

The WSSAServiceCmd can also be used to export/backup services.

Please refer to the link below

    https://docops.ca.com/ca-service-operations-insight/4-0-cu1-sp2/en/administrating/customization-and-maintenance/installation-maintenance/wss-command-usage

There is no inbuilt scheduler in SOI.

Tasks/Scripts could be created to execute the other backup steps and scheduled
using the Windows Task manager or an automation tool .

    Thanks,

    Paul
