CA SOI SNMP connector v2.0

Hi Team,

One of our customer is looking to migrate CA SOI SNMP connector from Windows Server 2008 to 2016. I see CA SOI has 2 different SNMP connector v2 and 4.2.  Also the version 4.2 is not supported on Windows server 2016 as per the docops. I looked around but couldn't found any comparison guide to help choose one for the migration.

Can some one help me understand the limitation on usability and advantages for both the connectors?

Hello Bhibu,

Both SNMP connectors works with Windows 2016 with Compatibility Mode on. 

One is IFW based connector and the other one is Catalyst Container. You may use any connector but if you want to use IFW, then use connector 2.0.0.

Thank you, this info is exactly is what I want.
The docops needs to be updated accordingly as customers are moving to Windows Server 2016.
