Hi,
You communicated the release will be on Thursday, December 12, 2019 for a majority of customers, have you planned to turn on the new UI for the EU servers too ?
Like Mitch, this period is not a very good period for us to learn new use of the tool as everybody is in hurry to finish everything before leaving for holidays.
Is it possible to do the migration only for some users and to postpone the migration for all users in January ?
Thanks very much for your answer
Regards

Subject: Important Update on the New Rally UI
After continued evaluation of feedback from our beta customers and review by our engineering teams we have decided to release the new Rally UI on Thursday, December 12, 2019 for a majority of our customers. While we're excited that these customers will immediately benefit from the modern user experience and the improvements it brings, we understand that some subscriptions with high degrees of complexity will require additional time to adopt the new user experience. For those customers, the Rally team will continue to work with you on a plan for adoption to ensure that your migration to the modern Rally UI is successful for your organization.
As always, your partnership is appreciated. We remain committed to making sure that we bring all of our customers the best possible experience as we continue to move the Rally platform forward. Additional communications via in-app notifications and community posts will be forthcoming with additional information and updates.
Regards,

Subject: Important Update on the New Rally UI
Based on Beta feedback, we have decided to delay the release of the updated Rally UI. Our internal testing combined with the tremendous partnership of our beta customers has identified several areas we need to change to ensure we deliver the reliability and quality that our customers expect.
The nature of the changes fall into two categories:
- Migration of Saved and Shared Views - it is critical to us that as we move the platform forward we do so in a way that is as low friction as possible for our customers. As we're moving the front end to a modern technology stack (shared by Work Views, Team Board and other newer pages) it requires that we change the way that we store our customers' custom views. While this will be completely transparent to our customers we have identified a set of corner cases that could cause a loss of views or views to not properly render.
- Functional Parity with the existing UI - we need to reiterate our thanks for the engagement of our of our beta testers. Through that continued collaboration we have identified a small number of issues that while not global to how every one of our customers use Rally, they collectively add up to areas that we feel are significant enough to remedy before our GA release.
This is not a decision we take lightly. We know that when we release new functionality to our SaaS platform we are impacting the daily work of hundreds of thousands of users. We also know that many of you support thousands of users in your own organizations. As much as we don't like to shift dates and we know that's a disruption to your organization's rollout and support plans, ultimately responding to the feedback and data in front of us was the responsible Agile thing to do.
So when will we release? The teams are actively evaluating and decomposing the outstanding work. As much as we want to push forward, announce the new date and deliver this exciting Rally update to the market we also want to make sure that we have a high degree of confidence in our next roll-out plan. We will publish a new date and release plan by Monday, November 18.
What if I'm actively using the new UI in Beta? If you're using the new UI already, and are happy with it (many of our users are) there's absolutely no reason to switch back. We are only going to continue to improve the functionality and mitigate the outstanding defects, and of course, we are not planning to slow down on our engagement with our beta users as we get this last bit of functionality over the line to GA.
Again we appreciate the flexibility of all of you, our customers, as we have made this tough decision, but ultimately we would rather partner with all of you to shift our rollout plans then deliver something that doesn't delight our customers.
