Drag and Drop Fields

Hi,

On the right hand side - I drag and drop items where I want them, but, how do I keep them there?
Each time I go back to another story or defect the fields are moved around again.

Hi Debra,

When we first rolled this feature out I had the same problem.  I let someone on the dev team borrow my account to work on it and they fixed it somehow.  Let me see if I can find out what they did.

Ok, so I found the workaround I was using when I had the problem:
When you're in the FDP view, click the QDP button to toggle that view on and then click the FDP button again to go back to full screen.  This will force a refresh of the field order preferences.

Can you see if that pops the fields back where you last saved them?

Do you mean ½ Screen – full screen?

If yes, then it didn't work L

Tried it again – spent 45 minutes moving things around. 

 

There is no [Save] after moving items around > so I stuck a character in my story to make it "save" and then went out back in and everything is moved around again.

 

Has this something to do with templates??

Hey there,

 

Creating a default template for myself did the trick. Now, all of my crewmates didn't have to do anything with the templates.   "Ghost in the Machine" .. or my machine, which always seems to be the case.

 

Any additional information would be appreciated.
