Renaming a project

I want to rename a project, but when I change the name in the "Workspaces & Projects" settings page, the project picker is not reflecting the change made. 

Is this expected behavior or am I doing something wrong?

Hi Nivi,

My first guess is that the old project name is cached on the page where you're trying to select it. 

If you hold down the Ctrl key and press the refresh button on the browser it will do a "hard refresh" and request a fresh copy.  Worst case scenario, you might need to clear your browser cache.

I think Rally should revisit this.  As a Workspace Admin, I frequently get problem reports from users because the project picker did not update itself after a project folder is renamed.

Hi Niveditha,  Once you've saved the change, please be sure to refresh your browser tab.  You can also logout/login.  Those names are cached for performance reasons, in order to see the new names hard refresh of your browser tab or logout/login will re-read the names.
