Service Catalog Request Email Type template

    hello.

When populating the Request Email template (To, CC etc), can we use fields within the request form instead of the default variables such as $req_for_user_id$, $req_by_user_id$.  Reason is that the user who submits the form does not populate the "Requested For" default field but instead populates the "Request For" field which is part of the form.  Thus, when they submit the request, the default "Requested For" field is by default set to the "Requested By" user.  Which means that when it sends the email when that status becomes submitted, both are the same user.

    Thanks.

I have not seen any feature that would allow you to specify a form field in the template. There is the $form_data_sd$ which produces a JSON structure (but I don't think that is what you want.

In your Request Email Action do you have the "Include Request Detail" radio button set to Yes?
