Error configuring service desk

Hello,

I'm doing a fresh installation of 17.1 Service Desk on a Windos Server 2016 with a remote DB MS SQL 2016.

I'm using a sysadmin, sql authentication user.

During the installation it fails on installing remote schema of the db and it shows this error later on configuring SDM:

I have checked all the DB settings with the broadcom team and nothing works...

Any suggestions of what we should check?

Was any part of the mdb created? Does any error show up in the SQL Server logs?

I always install SQL Server Management Studio on the Windows server on which I am going to install the Service Desk server before I do the install. That way, I can test the account that has sysadmin rights and test it first.

Yes, the mdb is created and like 6-7 seven tables are created. On the logs i see some login failed but i doesn't understand why because testing wth the Management Studio from the app server it works fine.

I had the same situation and I found the problem was the support of TLS from the SQL Server Client I resolved instaling a patch from Microsoft
