17.2.0.1 xFlow-Insights integration is not working

  • 1.  17.2.0.1 xFlow-Insights integration is not working

    Posted Jul 17, 2019 09:41 AM
    Hello,
after integrating Jasper-Reporting with CA Service Management we did all post-install-steps for xFlow-Interface as described in docops.
Next step was to call app insights from xFlow-interface. This worked only once and User firstName_LastName has been created in Jasper-Organisation casm_insights.
After some tests login is no longer possible.
New contacts are not created automatically in Jasper-Organbisation.

Since that insights-app is no longer available.
After clicking insghts-app we get following error:
ERROR: Document could not be retrieved due to an internal server error. Contact the administrator.

In this case docops guids to following logs to look in:
    jasperserver.log, insightMS.log (see attached files).

    Has anybody any idea?

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Hi Peter

    I looked at the logs.
As per logs it looks like there is some issues in syncing cache.

    1. If you have not, can you please try restarting xFlow services.
    2. Login to the jasper directly (not via xFlow) as user with admin privilege and check if user Peter_Schmidt exists under casm_insights

    Let us know your observations.

    Hi,

I had a similar issue with Jaspersoft Server and Insights on 17.2 &17.2.0.1 (Conventional Deployment)

You can try to redo the integration between Japersoft and Insights with the 17.2.0.1 installer, alternatively you can redo the casm_insights.jks store on Jaspersoft server

Copy From Insights: [ xFlow Path ]\APPS\Services\insightmicroservice-17.1.706\keystore\

    - casm_insights.jks
    - casm_insights.properties

To Jaspersoft Server: [ Jaspersoft Path ]\apache-tomcat\webapps\jasperserver-pro\WEB-INF\config

    Reboot the environment..

    Hope it helps!

I copied the two files as described above and restarted the services on both systems.
    The error is still present.

    2. on the Jasper server in the directory "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 8.0\webapps\jasperserver-pro\WEB-INF\config".

deleted the file "sso_token_history.txt" and restarted the service.

Now my user karsten_lippmann has been recreated in Jasper.

Auf meinem Arbeitsplatz läuft die Insight-App nur unter dem Google Chrome.

    Im IE kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:
With Firefox only the following message appears:

    Hi Karsten

    If I understand you correctly,

Insight is working properly when opened in Google chrome.
In IE and Firefox it is not working properly.

    1. In the above reply there is screenshot of IE error.
Can you please copy the error message from IE as text and update here.
So that I can translate the non-english error text  and understand the error.

    2. When this error occurs in IE, please open the developer console and copy the error messages from there.
