    Today, we are pleased to announce the availability of CA Service Management 17.3 Roll-Up 9. This Roll-Up includes all maintenance published prior to this update. By installing this Roll-Up, you ensure that your systems are current on maintenance for CA Service Management 17.3.  

     

    The CA Service Management 17.3 Roll-Up 9 delivers

    • Defining the User Name Display in Virtual Analyst's welcome message

     

    In addition to the above-mentioned enhancements, this update includes quality improvements for CA Service Desk Manager, CA Service Catalog, CA IT Asset Manager (Asset Portfolio Management), xFlow & Service Point. We encourage you to visit the CA Service Management 17.3.0.9 release notes for a summary of quality enhancements included in this patch and to also review the install instructions prior to applying the patch.

    Thank you Shiva for letting us know.
    May I ask the following: 
    In the list of patches  I get when clicking on one of the download links mentioned, 
    I am missing the container based 17.3.0.9 version.
    I recognised the same with 17.3.0.8 already, but did not ask.
    Can you please clarify ?

    Hi Michael, 

    There has been a change in the location of container patch publishing. You can now find container patches on the Product download page. The links are:
    Service Catalog  (Catalog only container patch. On this page, for CA Service Catalog MULTI-PLATFORM, select Release as 17.3 and Service Level as RU9, then click on the Key icon coming under Token Generation column to proceed with container patch download)
    Service Desk Manager (SDM only container patch. On this page, for CA Service Desk Manager Operational Use Only MULTI-PLATFORM, select Release as 17.3 and Service Level as RU9, then click on the Key icon coming under Token Generation column to proceed with container patch download)
    Service Management  (Service Management container patch. On this page, for CA Service Management Service Desk Manager Package MSP MULTI-PLATFORM, select Release as 17.3 and Service Level as RU9, then click on the Key icon coming under Token Generation column to proceed with container patch download)

    There are inconsistencies that we are working on to avoid any confusion in the patch download experience in the future.  We regret the inconvenience caused.
