Catalog end user role not see offer on Service Point

  • 1.  Catalog end user role not see offer on Service Point

    Posted Nov 13, 2021 11:26 AM
    Hi community!

we are experiencing this error with one of our customers:

assigning the role of end user to a user on CA service Catalog and accessing the Service Point with the same user does not view catalog offers; but by assigning him the service delivery administrator role he can see all the offers.

We have carried out these checks:
    1. from the authorizations of the offers on the catalog, the same are visible and usable by all roles
    2. the integration between ca service catalog and xflow interface is active, and the catalog certificates are present in the xflow microservices folder.
    3. By directly accessing the service catalog with the end user role, the requests are all visible, only from the service point we cannot view them.

    Thanks everyone

    Giovanni

Okay, and you are sure you copied the correct files?  I'm asking since I had the exact same problem solved the following way.

    • Copy the cert and key files, check parameters eiam.cert.filename and eiam.key.file in usm_home/config.properties to make sure you copy correct files.
    • Files is to be placed at xflowserver(s) in folder xFlow_Home\APPS\Services.
    • Restart xflowserver
    • Run reindex of SearchServer (pdm_es_rebuild_index) - Not sure this is necessary
    Best Regards

    Hi Giovanni,

Can you please make sure all CA Service Management products (Service Catalog, Service Desk, Xflow/SP )are installed with the same release and rollup version?

Also please run the pdm_es_rebuild_index.bat file in Search Server and restart CA Xflow services to make sure all indexes are loaded.

If still the issue persists, please raise a support case.

    Thanks,
    Seetharam & Srinath
