17.3.01 - New CMDB-Visualizer - NX.env-configuration - missing in NX.env_nt.tpl

Hi all,
with 17.3.01 new HTML5-visualizer is installed.

In NX.env you can find:  @NX_CMDB_VISUALIZER=http://....:9080/CMDBVisualizer
In NX.env_nt.tpl there is NO entry for it.
In Option-Manager  NO entry
In Table Options  NO entry

in stdlog:  options_mgr.c 1766 NX_INSTALL sym: CMDB_VISUALIZER val: http://******009:9080/CMDBVisualizer

???????

We want to change NX.env parameter permanently (may not be modified by upgrade and/or pdm_configure).

Where from does installation/pdm_configure take this NX.env-Parameter?
Why it is not in tpl?
Will it work to add parameter to tpl or will it be overwritten by install/pdm_configure to NX.env?

Hi all,
after changing NX.env @NX_CMDB_VISUALIZER=http://<FQDN>:9080/CMDBVisualizer to FQDN we have an additional problem:
- calling the app runs
- app does not start, because answers are not with FQDN: What else must be changed?

Hi Peter.
My knowledge:
NX_CMDB_VISUALIZER is used by the standard GUI (pdmweb.exe) to be able to start the visualizer in context.
where it comes from I don't know.
Take a look at NX_ROOT/bopcfg/www/CATALINA_BASE_VIZ/webapps/CMBDVisualizer/viz-ux/conf/casm.conf.js
It contains two url's , one for the Visualizer REST API , used by the visualizer frontend to get data, and one for the pdmweb.exe UI , to be able to jump back to the SDM GUI.
Where they are coming from, meaning, who and how they are set and changed during a pdm_configure, this has to be answered by broadcom ;)

Yes, NX_ROOT/bopcfg/www/CATALINA_BASE_VIZ/webapps/CMBDVisualizer/viz-ux/conf/casm.conf.js
must be edited too.

I found no documentation in tecdocs for it and didn't dive into viz-ux (hm, ux --- unix --- hm).
after editing casm.conf.js, restarting SDM (to be sure), and clearing browser-cash ... it worked.

But, @broadcom: What will happen after upgrade/pdm_configure?

Michael, do you think I should open CASE for it :-( ?
