  • 1.  Application unable to start pdm_ver issue

    ​Hi,

    We have two application servers and one of them suddenly stopped working, and when restarted it never gets started. I checked the logs, and could see the below thing on the application server.

    Stopped: E:/PROGRA~1/CA/SERVIC~1/bin/pdm_ver -s -r
     Process stopped unexpected exit code from: E:/PROGRA~1/CA/SERVIC~1/bin/pdm_ver -s -r Expected: 0 Received: 255
     Waited 7141 seconds for the RF Broker to respond to server list request
    and so on...

    On background server, we get the below message.

     Received notification that server corpappl9206 (id:21138, type:APPLICATION) is gone.

    Restarted services, server but still no use.


    Could you please help on this..

    Did you check to see if there are any network/firewall policies that could be blocking communication from the BG server to the APP server?

    Windows firewall, I have turned off and still its the same issue​

     Received notification that server corpappl9206 (id:21138, type:APPLICATION) is gone.

    The above is the error message on background server, and it shows a notification is received from application server then I feel it should not be related to firewall.

    Any other thoughts would be really helpfull​
