  • 1.  CA USS Portal - users are not automatically created in USS

    Team,
we have CA USS 17.2 implementation where EEM is used for authentication. EEM is connected to two LDAPs (A and B).

If a new user tries to log on to the USS with an account from LDAP A, the account is automatically created in the USS database and user can successfully log in - everything is OK.

A new user from LDAP B can't log in to the USS until the account is manually created in USS - after admin manually create the account in USS, the user can log in without any problems. It means the authentication works fine, the problem is only with a new user which doesn't have account in USS.

Any ideas on what and where should be configured? The LDAP A is a simple AD LDS (formerly known as ADAM), the second is a standard Microsoft AD.

    Thank you for your suggestions,
    Jakub

OK, the problem was that I changed the default password policy rule - I really don't know how this could affect the creation of new users, but it did. Reverting back the changes resolved the problem.
