  • 1.  Get Request id on ticket creation - Service Catalog

    Hi folks, I hope you are all ok.

     

    I'm trying to get the request id when user is requesting a service, (before save).

     

    I already tried with _.request.id and it worked only when the request was submitted. I'm just getting "-1" before submit.

     

    Please, help! I really need that.

    Hi,

     

    unfortunately, the response is correct - until the request is actually submitted, it doesn't really exist, so there's no request ID for it. Is it possible in your implementation to do these other tasks after submission?

    Hi Iain, thanks for your response.

     

    I though that it could be like in Service Desk, where i can get persid before save ticket.

     

    Meanwhile, i set a timeout after submit, so i can get request id after the configured seconds, but i facing same problem.

     

    I'm keep trying to get it any way. If you have some idea, i would appreciate it.

    What goal are you trying to accomplish with this information? More info on the problem will likely help get a solution that fits what you're trying to do. :)
