On CA Service Catalog, is it possible to customize the view as per below screenshot?

We have a field within the form called description, it would be nice to show this as an extra column, rather than show the generic form name.

The user needs click on the form to see which one is which.

    Good Afternoon James.

In the SC-UI, open request list (as an example), in r17.1, you'll see the 'settings -con'.

When you click on this, you'll get the list of columns to be set on or off, for showing on the list.

    These are all columns available.

    Kind regards, Louis.

    Hi Louis,

    Thank you for your reply.

We are currently running version 14 and in the process of upgrading to 17.

I don't see settings-con anywhere in the UI on version 14.

I assume this is on 17 only?

Does this also imply that users will not be able to see a customized column in the request list?

They need to see "description" which is a customized field in the form.

    Good Morning James.

You are correct when you say, the list of columns shown in the 'configuration' of a request list, are the 'only' columns to get/see on such a list.

    Kind regards, Louis.

Thinking about other ways to get what you're after, the name of the request is only the name of the requested service by default - it should be possible to have custom javascript (or indeed the user manually) change that.
