  • 1.  Problem with Catalog Form in USS

    I created a form in catalog that has a dropdown field that is populated from a report query.

    After submiting the request, the form shows the dropdown value in service catalog:

    But if I access the same request inside USS, the dropdown is empty.

    Any clues of the reason it not shows in USS?

    Hi Paulo,

     

    From the screenshots I can see you are loading categories. Are those items from SDM? If so, it might be related to:

     

    USS/Catalog category not loaded - CA Knowledge 

     

    If SDM is not involded:

     

    Did you notice any error in the F12 Console and/or Network when reproducing the problem? This might help us to find possible causes.

     

    If no error messages here and in the view.log/liferay logs then I would recommend you to create a case with support and provide:

     

    1. Form as xml

    2. .HIS from USS and Catalog

    3. details of the data object called by the form.

    Hi

    The problem is not this.

    Opening the form in USS, the dropdown is shown.

    But After submiting the request the dropdown is empty, but if I access the same request from catalog interface, the dropdown is populated.

    I have been trying to reproduce the issue but no luck so far. Could you please log a ticket with support and provide:

     

    1. Form as xml

    2. .HIS from USS and Catalog

    3. details of the data object called by the form.

    4. Errors in the F12 Console and/or Network when reproducing the problem

    Hi  Paulo Freire Ferrarini,

     

    Were you able to open a case regarding this if not we can open a case and progress this further.

    Also please clarify the following does it happen to the drop downs on a particular form and the same behavior is observed for all the drop downs
