How to export in excel at the time of opening report

I hope you can help me I have set up a report to refresh at the time of opening

 

 

At the time of executing this action

 

Update but ask me if I want to export it to Excell

 

 

It is possible to make that configuration??

 

i am using SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 3 Version: 14.1.3.1257

Hello,

We do not have this possibility as property of the webI report (refresh on open,...). Seems possible for Crystal report to configure the export.

 

What about this workaround to schedule the report with the destination and format to excel ? It will create an excel file on the destination.

 

You will schedule and have success to produce the output.

 

The next time you need an excel file with fresh data,

- right click on the report and choose history

- from the history list, choose the last scheduled one

- choose the reschedule to produce the new excel file

This is the solution that applies

 

On the Properties tab, click Document, In the Document Summary dialog box, select Update at Open

On the Documents tab of the BI launch pad, right-click a document and select Schedule

 

Click the Formats tab and select Microsoft Excel output format

 

Click Schedule. The History dialog box appears and displays an instance of the document you have programmed.When you open the document you will have the option to save the result as a Microsoft Excel file.

 

Note: It is not possible to perform this configuration on reports that contain requests, a programming error is generated
