This is the solution that applies
On the Properties tab, click Document, In the Document Summary dialog box, select Update at Open
On the Documents tab of the BI launch pad, right-click a document and select Schedule
Click the Formats tab and select Microsoft Excel output format
Click Schedule. The History dialog box appears and displays an instance of the document you have programmed.When you open the document you will have the option to save the result as a Microsoft Excel file.
Note: It is not possible to perform this configuration on reports that contain requests, a programming error is generated
