  • 1.  CA Service Catalog on IIS

    Hi all,

I need to publish SC url on IIS. Acording to documentation, Service Catalog needs to be published on Tomcat, so I have to redirect IIS to embedded Tomcat. Is this correct? Or I can pulish directly SC on IIS?

    Best regards,

    Sutot

    Hi,

yes, it's correct that CA Service Catalog needs to use Tomcat; the solution would have to be IIS redirecting to it.

    thanks

    Hi Iain,

    thank you for your answer.

    1. CA has a procedure to implement IIS redirecting to Tomcat?

    2. What is the physical path of Catalog web directory to use in IIS redirecting? <InstallDirCatalog>\view\webapps ?  <InstallDirCatalog>\view\webapps\usm ? Other path?

    Best regards,

    Sutot

    Hi,

rather than pointing to a physical path, you need to redirect to the Tomcat port so Tomcat can take over. We don't have an 'official' way to do this, but I Googled up an example from Technet that may help:

Configure the Web Server to Redirect Requests to a Relative Destination (IIS 7)

    thanks
