    I would just highlight that the userid in Catalog has to be defined as domain\userid. This is the same as the 'Principal Name' when viewing the user in EEM under 'Manage Identities':

    As for the LDAP Importer, there are a couple of multiple domain/business unit related properties to keep in mind:

     

    LDAP.User.Domain

    CatalogUser.DefaultBusinessUnit
