  • 1.  status transition condition

    Incidents/Problems/Requests:

If you use a Condition on an I/P/R Status Transition and the user tries to update the status of a ticket but the condition resolves false, the Condition Error Message displays and the edit form remains with the new (intended) status still selected. This way the user can correct the issue to meet the condition and save without re-selecting the new status.

    Change Orders:

If you use a Condition on a Change Order Status Transition and the user tries to update the status of a ticket but the condition resolves false, the Condition Error Message displays and the edit form returns the selected status back to the original. The user can correct the issue to meet the condition but must now remember to re-select the new status.

Shouldn't this behavior be consistent across ticket types?

    Hi Lindsay,

Yes I see this behavior too in 14.1 CUM#4 Rollup 1. I would suggest you open a ticket so a defect can be created so it can be fixed in a future rollup.
