Auto Generate Alt Asset ID on CA Asset Portfolio Management

If i need to create script or customize something for generate Alt Asset ID in CA Asset Portfolio.

 

Is meaning, when create new asset item and click save. I need to CA APM generate Alt Asset ID value .

This solution is possible ?

 

Please advice for this case.

There is no out of the box functionality that will do this in APM 12.9 or 14.1.  This will probably involve a backend database trigger.   However, this kind of customization should be handled  by CA Services.  You should contact your CA representative and or account manager and have them set up a discussion with someone from the  CA Services team.

Now, not have CA account manager or CA representative in Thailand. I don't know who contact for discuss this case.

 

I try to create database trigger, it not working.

I believe at this point that you need to open a support issue at support.ca.com.

From your site id we will have the information that we need to be able to contact someone within CA to assist you with your query.
