Error changing role

    Hello,

     

    When i log in to service desk and i change my role to analyst level 1 or employee or analyst level two an error shows up like this:

     

     

    No idea what could be this happening... I'd appreciate the help.

    Hi JasonLLM,

    Does this only happen to one user or does it happen for all users?  Also is it only when changing to specific roles, or any role besides what you log in as?   Additionally do you have multiple servers in your environment?  If so, does this occur when connected to a specific one, or all of them?

    Hello Jon,

     

    I only tested with me and other user. We log in as administrator and then change the role and the error shows up.

     

    We only have this server.

    Hi Jason,  in that case, this is something we would need to investigate further.  We would need to know the following:

    - has this always occurred or if it just started?

    - did it start after an upgrade, or patch of any type?

    - which version of service desk is running on this system?

    - is it an out-of-the-box system or does it have data in it, and customizations to the application?

    I may be able to give you a bit more of an idea if you can answer these, but most likely we would recommend for you to open a support case with CA for this to work with an engineer and get it resolved.
