    For example; if I purge the activity log or event log (with a setting of inactive for 30 days) does it just purge logs of closed Incident, Change, Request and Issues or does it purge the logs regardless of the associated ticket?

    There is no direct way to purge the activity log. Usually the activity logs is purged on the basis of the tickets that relates to those tickets. So in that sense the purge of the activity log is in the context or in relation to the inactive tickets.

     

    I'm not too sure about the events though....this is something I would have to check as I do not have an answer from the top of my head yet ;-)
