  • 1.  Approve Service Catalog requests via mobile

    Hi, we currently have Catalog v12.9, and need our managers to be able to approve/reject request via mobile. We do not have USS, and are wondering if there's a way other folks are doing this without USS?  Or is USS the only option?

     

    Note: once approved, a PAM process kicks off which creates a request a Service Desk v14.1 for fulfillment.  Since we're doing fulfillment, we thought about approving in Service Desk via mail eater, but I think we'd lose our approval tracking for security audits.  Is anyone else using Service Desk for approvals in lieu of Catalog to take advantage of maileater?

    one way todo without USS assuming they have email on their mobile (who don't )will be:

     

    • Catalog send out an e-mail with 2 link inside (one to approve, another to reject).
    • Then you can click the corresponding  link in that email (the link is a mailto link with preformatted info).
    • That will open a new mail window that you just have to click Send. (this will send the email  to a mailbox monitored by a PAM Process)
    • PAM will pick up that e-mail and process approval/rejection in catalog.
