I am installing CA SDM and came across a problem when determining the HTTPS port in process automation domain. It came already set to 8080, but when I try to continue, says it is being used and asks me to enter another. When I try any other port, it gives the same error. Can someone help me?

    Hello Airu,

Before installing CA SDM, did you install ITPAM on it's own server using https:?   Are you trying to locate the port to connect to the already running ITPAM server?

In general, you can locate 'in use' ports using the netstat command.

See this link:   How can I check to see which TCP ports are in use? | Networking content from Windows IT Pro

for an explanation of the 'netstat -a' and netstat -an' commands.

    Hello, Gale!

After researching more in the community, I found a topic of installation that helped me see the problem. I pointed to the correct port and my installation successfully continued.

    Thanks for the help!
