  • 1.  Service Catalog secondary on F5 Load Balancer

    Posted Jun 08, 2015 03:07 AM

    Hi,

We are planning to have secondary server for Catalog through F5 Load balancing. We don't have much information on this in the implementation guide. So, we are looking for some information or a document on how to implement this.

We would be more thankful if anyone who has implemented this, can share a document which will have atleast some information regarding this.

    Catalog version: 12.9

    E-mail: Rajasheker.Chittanur@bakerhughes.com

    Thanks & Regards,

    Rajasheker Chittanur

    Hi Chitraj,

    We neither received any response.

But we have found a possible solution.

We will implementing something like your implementation, but our planning no is just Catalog,we are involving ServiceDesk, PAM, Unified Self-service too.

For our implementation, we will use a server as load balancer server (already tested in our envioremenet and was successfull).

We followed this 4 steps: https://wiki.ca.com/display/CASM1401/Step%201%20-%20Verify%20Prerequisites%20for%20Clustering

Please, check it out and follow the four steps.

Test it using 2 servers, 1 for the application layer (catalog installed)

And the second one to the load balancer (where you have to configure the above steps)

Write me if you have any further questions.

    Regards
