  • 1.  Add URL parameter to a link to login as specific role

    Hello everyone,

we have the specific need to add any kind of URL parameter to a URL link as we want to add the information to the link with which role we want to log in at CA-SDM.

Is there any kind of possibility or will there be one in 14.1?

    Hi,

I am not sure but I guess there is no such parameter.

If you must do it like that, a possible work around is that:

create new access types, each access type contains only one specify role.

create multiple contacts for different roles of a user.

For example, for user lxpbn, you may have different contacts such as lxpbn_adm, lxpbn_analyst, lxpbn_emp, etc.

Each contact associate with assess type which contains the specific role.

Then you can use different username to login as different role.

    Regards,

    Mark

I do not believe that there is a parameter that can be passed via URL to indicate the CA SDM role.
