Error in notification after applying CUM1 (RO80318)

    Hello everyone,

    I own the installation of CA Service Desk Manager 14.1 in a SQL database.

    Everything was going fine until I install the RO80318.

    I can no longer send manual notification, and my Automatic notifications are unstable.

    the following error occurs in the log:

    domdict.c         1116 Signature error in manual_notify: arg[9] = nil with invalid type NIL


     

     

    My environment has customizations, but installed the CUM1 in a no customization environment and the error is the same.


    The problem is not my customizations.

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi Samuel_Ruben,

    I have seen similar behavior on earlier version with same error and also on 14.1 and it was resolved once they applied language pack which comes with cumulative patch.

    As you mentioned your on 14.1 please confirm for your history file if you have applied

    RO80229( Language Pack)

    RO80218.CAZ ( English)

    RO80230 Binary patch.

    please check these above patches and try to apply it once again and verify the behavior.

    Fix the problem by installing RO80218.CAZ
