    A few troubleshooting steps
1  - From the CCA Server (or from the Grid Nodes if you have any), can you ping that server?  nslookup?
1n -If No, its a DNS / server configuration / host file issue
1y - if yes to both, then .... 2 - open up a web browser (again, on the CCA Server or Grid Nodes) and go to http://<servername>:8063  Do you see any XML ?
2n - If No, then the agent is not running, or not running on 8063 or there is a firewall blocking it
2y - If yes, then... 3 -  do you have any configuration in the agent.conf file that only allows certain Server Names to contact that server?
3y - If yes, (and a different name, change it (if that is what needs to be done)
3n1 - If not, change agent.conf line of verbose to verbose=4 and rerun just the browser test, see if logs appear (analyze from there)
3n2 - look at ccaserver.log (possible with debug)
