  • 1.  Issue with a Modified Blueprint

I modified a RHEL with Compliance blueprint to discover RHEL 5.6..... CCA is now able to inventory RHEL 5.6 but it is not executing Rule Compliance and Remediation.

I am getting a error "CCA-DIS-8649: Verification directive failed for blueprint "Copy of Red Hat Linux 5.0 and 5.1 with Compliance Rules_v[1.0.0]_cv[5.[0|1|6]]", component root "/", on server "xxxx.com", therefore this component will be discarded from the Discovery. Is my Managemet Profile missing anything?(screens attached)

    Hello,

If you use CCA 12.8, you can get further logs during detecting components.

Here is the parameter. Default is disable. Select [True] and restart CCA services.

[Administration] menu - [Configuration] tab - [Properies] menu - [cca] group - [discovery.extensive.log]

Next, open your blueprint definition. You can see [Test Discovery] button (upper right). Click the button, and then open another window. Select your server, and click [Discovery] button.

If discovery is completed or failed, you can see further logs on [Log] tab of top menu.

You may find the root cause.

    Thanks

    Yas
