    Hi,

I'm new to CCA and Cisco switches. I need some help with the Cisco switch blueprint urgently.

    1. Has anyone used the blueprint to discover and manage the following Cisco Catalyst switches?
    ( a ) Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series Switches
    ( b ) Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series Switches

    2. Did the blueprint give you comprehensive data you needed?

    3. I am looking for a snapshot to see the list of the parameter and configuration data (e.g. IOS Version, Uptime, etc) the Cisco Switch blueprint successfully discovered. If you have one to share, please contact me.

    4. Can the Cisco Switch blueprint discover and manage VLAN settings?

    thanks in advance -MunFai

    Hello Munfai.yue.1:

Current CCA Cisco switch blueprint can capture very minimal data(as displayed below) as part of blueprint discovery.

Cisco Switch Blueprint structure is as follows:

    Parameter’s
    1.
    IOS Feature Set
    2.
    IOS Version
    3.
    Location
    4.
    Number of Interfaces
    5.
    Product Type
    6.
    Serial Number
    7.
    System Contact
    8.
    System Name
    9.
    Vendor
    10.
    Version

    Macros:
    1.
    Load -> Load Average
    2.
    Memory -> Memory Pool Information
    3.
Uptime -> How long the system has been running

Let us know, If you would like to have more information in the blueprint.

Note: One of the points mentioned below “Uptime” is captured by a macro execution.

    Thanks

    Hi Munfai.yue.1,

Mary provided a good description of the limited data that CCA will capture for network devices. If you need more information than what CCA offers then the CA Network Automation product may provide the details that you are interested in.

    Regards,
