    Hi Team,

I have been trying to monitor the CA Spectrum tomcat process through the tomcat agent of CA APM but didn't got any luck
Steps I followed are as below:
    1. Open the tomcat7w.exe file in spectrum/tomcat/bin directory
    2. Enter the agent parameters in the java options
        -javaagent:C:\wily\Agent.jar
    -Dcom.wily.introscope.agentProfile=C:\wily\core\config\IntroscopeAgent.profile
    3. Entered the IP of enterprise manager in introscopeagent.profile file
    4. Recycled the Spectrum Tomcat service

    But this is not working,

The second method I tried is to open the catalina.bat file and paste this parameters
    set CATALINA_OPTS=%CATALINA_OPTS% -javaagent:"c:\wily\Agent.jar" -DagentProfile="c:\wily\core\config\IntroscopeAgent.profile"

This works when I run the catalina.bat from the command line but how we can achieve this with the spectrum tomcat service
Has anyone done monitoring of spectrum through tomcat?

    Thanks

    Hello Robert,
This article suggests how you might be able to instrument Spectrum Tomcat (OneClick) using the APM agent

    https://ca-broadcom.wolkenservicedesk.com/external/article?articleId=112267

If the file is not present in your installation, it would be best to check with the Spectrum team where the Tomcat Windows service takes its JVM arguments from, when you know that, you should be able to use the same JVM options to load our agent.
As such it is more of a question for that application than APM side as we do not know Spectrum in as much detail.

    Many thanks,

    Robert,
Could you possibly provide some screenshots of Introscope agent that's monitoring your Spectrum Tomcat? Wanted to see what all it's monitoring for Spectrum and how we can possibly use it in our environment.

    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    Manish
