Hello,
sometimes the Java agent works well in environments are not officially supported, but we get/got no support if something does not work well.
> Just because it's not officially supported, it does not mean that it may not resolve the issues you're currently experiencing.

In the past (CA) it was a problem to discuss problems like this with the support team,
today (Broadcom) you get no help (sorry).

Maybe, but as long as the DX APM Java agents are not available via the software download, I can't use/test the Java agent.
Unfortunately, Broadcom ship DX APM as a SaaS product only and we don't use SaaS products.
Thanks for your suggestions,
Lutz

Just because it's not officially supported, it does not mean that it may not resolve the issues you're currently experiencing.
Sometimes we "field certify" solutions to let users know when we find something that works.
The SaaS agents will have greater support for technologies in the field ahead of current 10.x solutions. As we move towards DX APM on-premise, things will have more parity.
Your current issue may still require a custom extension, which could ultimately make its way into the product for official support. The agent has capabilities to extend. functionality is a somewhat easy manner, so follow up with your account team to see what solutions may be available to you.

Hello,
I open a ticket last week, the support try to investigate the problem.
Unfortunately, the JDBC Oracle 19.x driver is no in the support matrix and not supported by the SaaS Java agent too.
With regards,
Lutz
p.s.
Today the APM Java agent support list does not contain the most of our used software releases. In the past this was not a problem, but CA/Broadcom drop to much old code from the APM (Java agent and Manager). And the new the functions does not fit to our environment now.

I would suggest you open a support ticket for this and request a copy of our SaaS Java agent for your particular appserver to see if it's resolved by our newest agent.
You will need to point the agent at 10.7 EM and configure to run the agent to run in compatibility mode:
introscope.agent.connection.compatibility.version=10.7
Place this in the agent profile.

Subject: No Metrics with JDBC Oracle 19.3 driver
Hello all folks,
we start using Oracle 19 and use the JDBC 19.3 driver therefore.
Unfortunately the APM 10.5.x and APM 10.7.x stop collecting metrics for the SQL Statements, some metrics for "Unknown SQL" collected only.
Any one else are using the JDBC 19.3 or 19.7 driver for Java 8 with the APM 10.5.x or APM 10.7x Java agent.
Based on the JDBC 12.2 driver and Java 8 every things works well, we changed the driver only.
A question only,
With regards,
Lutz
