  • 1.  Monitor AS400 MQ

    Hi,

    Has anyone monitored Queue Manager running on AS400 (ibm i series) system? I need to do remote monitoring of it, by installing MQMonitor agent in windows machine.

    What are the commands to be executed at qm level? The setmqaut commands given in techdocs do not work in as400.

    We are using apm 10.7 SP3.

    The agent is a remote monitoring agent. It's not designed to be installed locally.
    You will need to work with your MQ admins to setup a special queue for the agent to correlation tracing and access to all queues.
    Recommended that you setup your access for non-destructive message monitoring, meaning that you cannot delete messages in a queue.

    You need to use the GRTMQMAUT command on the AS400/iSeries platform instead of setmqaut.
