Export of management modules from APM 10.7

Is there a way to export the list of configurations from the Management Module in APM 10.7?  We were asked for the ability to audit what has been configured for each group we have instrumented.

Within 10.7 there isn't a sort easy way to export the management modules contents into a nice, usable report.
A number of years ago there was a thread about cracking open the management module file and using the XML file with a style sheet to create a report of the elements defined within the XML

This fell through since the management module XML does not have a valid schema (xsd) since some of it is added outside of the defined XML definition by code and that makes the XML fairly difficult to parse or read through with Java or other programming language 

Now if you want to list the alert metric group expression and metric expression, really depends if you use the management module parent expressions or if each of the metric groups have their own to charter how big your query space will be.

Using the various APM queries you will get direct matches on the alerts and not the specific instance information that you may want. So you might get the expression values or the actual matches of the alert, and really depends on what you are looking for which is best.
