  • 1.  Negative values on "Data Points Retrieved From Disk Per Interval"

    I need know because the metric "Data Points Retrieved From Disk Per Interval" sometimes present negative values. Can you help me?

         From my look at the code and our knowledge base, this appears to be an underdocumented metric. Will ask internally for others to respond

    Data Points Retrieved From Disk Per Interval

    The number of data points that are retrieved from SmartStor per interval.

    Hi Vinicius,

     

    Can you post a screenshot of the full screen of the Investigator?  We would like to see the full metric path as well.

     

    What version is your MOM and Collectors?

     

    Check the date/time that the metric appears negative and then check the MOM and Collector logs at that point in time to see if there are any warnings or errors.

    the version of environment is 10.2.

    In Log of MOM and Collectors not has any message.

    This metric should never go negative.  Was there any other point back in time that it went below 0?  Please open up a Support issue, upload the screenshots as you did here and also the MOM and Collector logs.  This will require some deeper investigation.
