  • 1.  Weblogic DB Backend Metrics--After Migrating from JDBC Type-2 to Type-4 driver

    Posted Apr 27, 2016 08:40 PM

After upgrading JDBC driver on weblogic server from Type-2 to Typ-4 we noticed that display of the DB Name under back ends is broken.

Type-2 driver just display "DBName" as "etestadm01.xyz.com"

    Type-4 Driver display as below:-

    "jdbc%weblogic%db2%//etestadm01.xyz.com%50001;catalogoptions=2;connectionretrydelay=1;bulkloadbatchsize=1000;*************************************

This issue is happening on both 9.6* and 10.1 versions.

Did anyone faced this issue before?

Appreciate any help in answering this issue/concern.

    Thanks!

That is a known issue with that driver. Our SQLAgent's nameformatter needs to be updated, if my memory serves.

I'm asking for confirmation from Guenter_Grossberger duanenielsen and our Support team.

Have you been able to validate this?  Is it a know issue and do you have a fix?

    Thanks
