  • 1.  Datapower connection to APM keeps losing connection to collectors

    My datapower connection to APM is not stable. I don't know why but it appears to be connecting to EM which is running but the log on the datapower application shows EM down.

    How are you connecting DP to APM?

    I am connecting using Datapower agent version 2 where it gets the java framework from DataPower agent. See below

    Here is a command to verify if ports are opened between data power server and the EM collector

     

    [esmmon@datapowerserver logs]$ netstat -an | grep 11304

    tcp        0      0 ::ffff:172.29.***.xx:58046  ::ffff:172.29.***.xx:11304  ESTABLISHED

    tcp        0      0 ::ffff:172.29.***.xx:58044  ::ffff:172.29.***.xx:11304  ESTABLISHED

    If you purchased the Global Delivery Package Work Product for DP, then please open a support ticket to connect with our Global Delivery team.

     

    They will handle all support requests for products they develop and is part of your maintenance agreement.

    I need someone to interpret this behavior for me if you have seen ever seen this before:

    Check any local firewall rules for changes.

     

    Again, if you purchased the PWP, you can get direct support from our CA Global Delivery team as support is included in the yearly maintenance. They will also provide any fixes to the product for you.

     

    Please contact CA Support Online (CSO) and have them put you in contact with the team.
